Course Description
The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) credential focuses on the ability to design and build technology solutions and when it comes to getting certified as an IT administrator, few certification paths are as popular as the MCSA.
Microsoft has made the Windows Server 2012 MCSA the cornerstone for all IT Administration Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) paths. In order to get any of the MCSE certifications (Server Infrastructure, SharePoint, Private Cloud, messaging and so on) you must first complete MCSA: Windows Server 2012. This makes sense since Windows Server is the backbone for any of the additional server family products like SharePoint, Exchange and System Center.
The MCSA Windows Server 2012 curriculum will provide the student with complete understanding of the Windows Server product, including Active Directory and networking, in order to be able to administer those additional server products, and prepare the student for the three required exams: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012, Administering Windows Server 2012 and Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services.
